They broke into my office for a 6year old tv (worth 300). Cost to fix window, wall, carpet etc. 5k. Cost me 1k for insurance ded. Time spent on cleaning/scheduling repairs/police reports etc 30 hours. That is what sucked. Next time just ask and i will give it to you.

Last month I woke up at 1am with a stranger in my kitchen, going through my wife’s purse. Luckily they took off when I came out of the bedroom, but that feeling of safety isn’t easy to get back (still working on it, even a month later).
